Shift5 is hiring an Engineering Operations Specialist to join our team. Our team and customer base are quickly growing and we're scaling our team and processes smartly to deliver flawless products to our customers. 

In this role, you'll be the architect of our engineering department's infrastructure. You'll be responsible for identifying and implementing new tools and processes, tracking projects, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration. You'll report to the VP of Engineering and work with our Software, Hardware, and Platform teams to ensure we deliver flawless products to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Track project progress across engineering teams and identify potential delays or issues.
• Optimize and improve engineering processes and documentation.
• Train engineering staff on new methodologies and technologies.
• Represent the engineering department in cross-functional meetings.
• Ensure clear communication and collaboration between technical contributors and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as an Engineering Project or Operations owner. 
• Proven ability to refine development practices and tracking methodologies.
• Expertise with the Atlassian Suite (Jira and Confluence).
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• US Citizen with an active (or ability to obtain) a Top Secret security clearance.

• Base Salary: $50,000-$100,000
