OneMain Financial is seeking candidates for a to join our Information Technology Team. The Software Development Manager will plan, organize and mentor platform resources and activities within the Enterprise Systems Department.

Position Description:

  • Manage a diverse technology team of full-time employees and contract staff

  • Execute technology strategy for the electronic signature and content management platforms

  • Work with a variety of partners across technology to execute OneMain priorities that delight our business partners.

  • Mentor other team members within the organization

  • Assist in the definition of our strategies around DevOps, Monitoring, Alerting, KPIs, and Testing as it relates to our enterprise solutions.

  • Provide leadership to ensure solutions are designed, tested, documented, implemented, enhanced, and maintained according to the enterprise standards and expected service quality.

  • Develop a high performing team culture

  • Assist in road mapping and prioritization of future platform updates.

  • Execute agile scrum methodology

  • Establish and implement training processes and strategies for technical personnel

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years in a technical management position (managed people and projects)

  • 3+ years of experience working with (Java J2EE, Spring, Web Services, REST API’s)

  • 2+ years end user support, application testing, application deployment experience

  • Past experience managing upgrades to 3rd party platforms

  • Strong knowledge of project management theory

  • Strong experience and understanding of the software lifecycle

  • Analytical detail and organized person

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, etc)

  • Experience with containerized architectures and hybrid cloud deployments to AWS

  • Experience with AppDynamics, Grafana, ELK stack

Location: [HYBRID] Evansville, IN | Wilmington, DE | Charlotte, NC | Tempe, AZ | Ft. Mill, SC | Ft. Worth, TX | Irving, TX | London, KY

Target base salary range is $110K – $160K, which is based on various factors including skills and work experience. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a competitive compensation program that is based on individual and company performance.
