We are a San Francisco-based, fully remote Series A stage company founded by prominent Silicon Valley venture capital firms. System2 founders Dilan Dane & Yuran Lu are ex-MIT serial entrepreneurs who've previously built and sold companies to Google, Dropbox etc.

System2 is looking to grow our remote engineering team and we are looking for talented engineering leaders to help us grow our engineering organization.

On a day to day basis you will,

  • Develop and implement best practices for a remote-first engineering team to deliver high-quality output.

  • Be involved hands-on in the development process of your team, including coding and code reviews.

  • Coach and mentor individual contributors as well as new team leads and managers.

  • Own product features end-to-end, guide product decision-making and testing.

  • Help us build our team by recruiting, interviewing, and investing time in building a culture of care and excellence.

  • Help build us a product that our users genuinely love!

  • 3+ years of experience recruiting and managing teams of engineers.

  • Have architected complex, scalable systems.

  • Experience in JS / React is preferred but not required.

  • Experience managing a remote team is preferred but not required.

Ideally, you...
  • Have the ability to operate in a 100% English language (spoken and written) environment.

  • Have the ability to set your own objectives, plan, execute, and achieve excellent results.

  • Excited to develop systems and processes to build a high-performing remote culture.

  • Love the vision of making fitness more accessible to everyone, and care about health & fitness yourself.

Compensation & benefits

We provide very competitive salaries and benefits. Taking care of all our team members and treating everyone equally is at the core of our ethos. In addition, you'll also own equity in the US based company, with very significant potential for financial upside.

You'll have the opportunity to work on exciting and innovative technologies and make a meaningful difference in many lives every day. We hope you are excited to join us!
