The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Product Engineering team, the group responsible for delivering the frontlines of the Kintsugi experience. From intuitive web dashboards to user-facing APIs, seamless integrations, and AI-powered workflows, this team brings our product to life for customers.
In this role, you'll be instrumental in scaling our product engineering function as we grow. You’ll lead a high-performing team, partner closely with Product and Design, and ensure our roadmap translates into a thoughtful, high-impact user experience. This is a hybrid role that combines people leadership, technical mentorship, and hands-on execution.
What You’ll DoLead and mentor a team of talented engineers through coaching, feedback, and career development support
Own execution of our product roadmap, ensuring timely, high-quality feature delivery that exceeds user expectations
Collaborate cross functionally with Product, Design, and other engineering teams to define architecture and shape the user experience
Champion engineering excellence by evolving best practices around testing, code quality, deployment, observability, and performance
Stay hands on, contributing to architecture decisions, reviewing code, and solving complex technical problems where needed
Proven engineering leadership experience in fast paced, product led environments (startup or scale up preferred)
Strong technical foundation in modern web development (for example, React, TypeScript, Python, FastAPI, Postgres)
Experience designing and scaling SaaS products, especially in B2B or fintech contexts
A collaborative, empathetic communicator who thrives in dynamic environments
Passion for creating tools that simplify high stakes workflows and make customers' lives easier
