We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead, mentor, and scale our CRM Engineering team. Responsible for a critical Salesforce ecosystem that sits at the heart of our commercial operations, this team enables and automates key business processes across sales, finance, customer operations, and revenue workflows. This is a highly visible role where you will serve as the strategic bridge between technical execution and business enablement, partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the company to deliver scalable solutions that drive business growth.

As Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of Salesforce administrators and developers while owning the technical roadmap for our CRM platform and its ecosystem of business-critical integrations. You will balance competing business priorities, guide architectural decisions, and ensure the team delivers reliable, scalable systems while maintaining high engineering standards and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Salesforce administrators and developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing engineering culture.
  • Partner with senior business stakeholders to understand strategic priorities and translate them into actionable technical roadmaps and delivery plans.
  • Own the architecture, scalability, and operational excellence of the Salesforce platform and its connected business systems.
  • Manage and prioritize a diverse portfolio of requests and initiatives, balancing business impact, technical debt, platform health, and team capacity.
  • Oversee a complex landscape of integrations connecting Salesforce with finance, contract lifecycle management, customer support, authentication, and other enterprise platforms.
  • Drive the evolution of automated B2B workflows, including complex configure, price, quote (CPQ), billing, and revenue operations processes.
  • Establish and champion engineering best practices, including automated testing, CI/CD, release management, observability, and platform governance.
  • Communicate technical risks, dependencies, and delivery progress clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  • Continuously improve development processes, system reliability, and team effectiveness while supporting the professional growth of team members.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience working with Salesforce platforms, with a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, platform capabilities, and ecosystem best practices.
  • Minimum 2 years of people management experience leading and developing technical teams.
  • Experience leading teams responsible for Salesforce, CRM, or other business-critical enterprise applications.
  • Proven experience managing complex enterprise integrations and supporting sophisticated B2B workflows, including product catalog management, process automation, and transaction-driven systems.
  • Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, including automated testing, CI/CD, release management, monitoring, and operational excellence.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance competing stakeholder priorities, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and make effective trade-offs between short-term needs and long-term platform sustainability.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing teams.

Nice To Have

  • Experience with Salesforce integrations, particularly platforms such as NetSuite, Ironclad, ComplyAdvantage, or Staircase.
  • Familiarity with designing, implementing, or supporting integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems, including finance, legal, compliance, and customer operations tools.
  • Experience working within complex, highly integrated business system environments.
