The Role

As an Engineering Lead, you will guide an agile team of engineers, driving best practices, improving processes, and fostering continuous development. You’ll be responsible for ensuring technical excellence and delivery outcomes, while leading the team in their growth and professional development.

Our teams are mission-driven, comprising Product Managers, Designers, and engineers across Backend and Mobile, all working together to build and maintain high-impact products and services that provide an exceptional user experience. Squads are organized around key business areas, and we rely on data-driven, autonomous teams that take ownership of their work. As an engineering leader, your focus will be on empowering your team, enabling them to deliver successful results, and supporting their personal and professional growth.

Your key responsibilities 🎯

  • Lead the team in delivering results aligned with company targets and support the systems they build.
  • Act as a role model and mentor, coaching engineers and managing their career development.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to drive technical excellence.
  • Oversee architectural design, code reviews, and establish Agile processes.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of components in the Plum stack.
  • Stay updated on tech trends to mentor the engineering community.
  • Focus on team productivity and fulfilment while championing positive user impact and improving engineering standards.
