Lead and manage a team of full-stack engineers to drive patient enrollment growth through system integrations and enhance user experiences.

Re‑architecting U.S. healthcare demands speed, precision, and an obsession with details. Cadence is building a remote care delivery system that keeps older people healthy, out of the hospital, and at home. By pairing each patient with a dedicated clinical team that reviews their health every day, versus every few months, we catch issues early and intervene before they escalate. The result: measurably better outcomes for patients and less administrative burden for clinicians.

Today, Cadence supports tens of thousands of  active patients nationwide. Our AI‑powered system and scalable clinical model enable proactive, population‑level care. We’re among the fastest‑growing companies in healthtech, and we’re just getting started.

The Cadence Solutions team is looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead our Growth team. This team is responsible for driving patient enrollment by launching new health systems with complex integrations, scaling backend systems that identify eligible patients, and building intuitive provider experiences to generate referrals. You will lead a team of high-performing engineers to move fast and ship confidently.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of full-stack engineers focused on high-leverage growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Product, internal stakeholders, and customers to define and execute an agile roadmap.
  • Be a force multiplier for your team, driving high engineering standards and occasionally contributing code.
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of both frontend and backend services across the platform.
  • Continuously evolve engineering standards, tooling, and processes to foster a culture of quality, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Drive the technical direction of the platform and actively participate in long-term strategic planning.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, including 2+ years in a people management role.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, product-driven environment rooted in trust, autonomy, and direct feedback.
  • Passionate about solving complex problems end-to-end, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Comfortable being hands-on with code when needed, especially in Go and React (or similar frameworks).
  • Experience building robust backend systems with familiarity in modern cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), relational databases (Postgres/MySQL), and messaging systems (e.g., SQS, Kafka).

WHO WE ARE:

We move fast, raise standards, and own outcomes. We hire drivers, not passengers – people who take initiative, solve problems, and sweat the details because lives depend on it. Momentum matters in healthcare where slow decisions cost lives. At Cadence, we set a high bar and back each other relentlessly to clear it. If you’re ready to do the best work of your career and make a real impact in healthcare, join us.

WHAT YOU’LL GET:

  • Autonomy to tackle big, complex problems that matter
  • An opportunity to improve lives every single day
  • A chance to shape a category‑defining company at scale
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Competitive total compensation and meaningful equity
  • TelaDoc (virtual primary care)
  • National and local discounts powered by TriNet
  • Unlimited PTO and paid holidays
  • Remote equipment setup and home office stipend
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • 401K and 401K match
  • Charitable Donation Match program
  • Expected compensation: $220,000-$250,000 annual base salary
  • Location: Remote
