Your role at Dynatrace
Are you a hands-on leader who loves shipping exceptional products while growing great engineers? We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a high-impact team (approx. 10 engineers) and turn product vision into reliable, scalable systems. You’ll partner closely with Product Managers, Product Architecture, and cross-functional teams to define the roadmap, deliver on commitments, leverage modern AI tooling to accelerate development, and build a resilient engineering culture.
What you will do:
- Lead a team of approx. 10 Software Engineers and own delivery — you will be accountable for timelines, quality, and production releases.
- Drive execution by setting clear goals, managing dependencies, removing blockers, and ensuring predictable delivery of milestones.
- Mentor, and grow the engineering team, fostering their technical excellence and career progression
- Drive career development, promotions, and compensation planning
- Drive hiring, team scaling, and organizational growth initiatives
- Align product delivery and roadmap execution with company strategy
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- 3+ years of experience in technical leadership role
- Strong ability to break down high-level technical requirements into actionable plans and deliverables
- Hands on experience with AI-driven development
- Experience with distributed systems technologies such as Kafka, or Kubernetes is preferred
- Experience with Java and Java frameworks (e.g. Spring) is preferred
- A proven passion for coaching, mentoring and empowering others
- Excellent communication and leadership skill to manage teams and collaborate across departments
- A one-product software company creating real value for the largest enterprises and millions of end customers globally, striving for a world where software works perfectly.
- Working with the latest technologies and at the forefront of innovation in tech on scale; but also, in other areas like marketing, design, or research.
- A team that thinks outside the box, welcomes unconventional ideas, and pushes boundaries.
- An environment that fosters innovation, enables creative collaboration, and allows you to grow.
- A globally unique and tailor-made career development program recognizing your potential, promoting your strengths, and supporting you in achieving your career goals.
- A truly international mindset that is being shaped by the diverse personalities, expertise, and backgrounds of our global team.
- We offer only employment contracts and a remote working setup. This is a permanent role and not a B2B contract.
- We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages.
- Base salary range: 21.333 - 26.600 PLN gross per month with higher pay based on experience and qualifications.
