About Paxos

Today’s financial infrastructure is archaic, expensive, inefficient and risky — supporting a system that leaves out more people than it lets in. So we’re rebuilding it.

We’re on a mission to open the world’s financial system to everyone by enabling the instant movement of any asset, any time, in a trustworthy way. For over a decade, we’ve built blockchain infrastructure that tokenizes, custodies, trades and settles assets for the world’s leading financial institutions, like PayPal, Venmo, Mastercard and Interactive Brokers.

About the team

The Dashboard and API Experience team is at the forefront of Paxos' mission to create a best-in-class unified platform experience for our customers. Our team of 9 talented engineers builds and maintains critical infrastructure that enables self-serve provisioning, governance, and usage of Paxos' products. We're tackling exciting challenges around user authentication, access control, approvals workflows, and creating intuitive interfaces that allow non-technical users to perform complex digital asset operations securely and efficiently.

About the role

As Engineering Manager for the Dashboard team, you'll lead a high-performing team focused on building Paxos' next-generation unified platform experience. You'll drive initiatives around operational approvals, user experience improvements, and API management while balancing technical excellence with business needs. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of how customers interact with Paxos' services, working closely with Product, Design, and other engineering teams to deliver solutions that scale with our rapidly growing customer base.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the delivery and execution of the Dashboard platform by managing resources, timelines and team members effectively while maintaining high quality standards
  • Drive accountability for deploying and monitoring solutions by ensuring proper alignment of technical resources and skill sets
  • Partner with Product Management and other stakeholders to make strategic decisions that benefit our customers, measured through clear communication and data-driven decision making
  • Guide the technical direction of the Dashboard platform through intelligent insights and operational rigor in reporting
  • Identify and remove process bottlenecks and technical constraints before they impact team success
  • Build and manage a world-class engineering team through timely feedback, career development, and swift action on performance issues
  • Champion engineering excellence by implementing best practices around testing, monitoring, and incident response

About you

  • 7+ years of engineering experience with 3+ years of engineering management experience
  • Strong technical background in full-stack web development, with expertise in modern frontend frameworks and backend systems
  • Experience building and scaling customer-facing applications with complex authentication, authorization and workflow requirements
  • Track record of successfully delivering large technical initiatives while managing stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively across engineering, product, and business teams
  • Experience implementing engineering best practices, monitoring, and operational excellence in a high-growth environment
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, mentor and grow engineering talent
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve how you work
  • Previous experience in fintech or regulated industries is a plus
