About this role:
We are seeking a Product Engineering Lead to join the Integrated Governance Solutions (IGS) Engineering team, delivering for our internal customers.
This role is instrumental in shaping how we deliver secure, compliant, and user-centric solutions by driving product engineering excellence across the software development lifecycle. As a hands-on technical leader and people manager, you will lead a team of product engineers, working closely with product, platform, and controls teams to turn business needs into impactful, high-quality engineering outcomes.
You will set the tone for agile execution, foster a strong engineering culture grounded in accountability and craftsmanship, and ensure we deliver rapid, reliable, and resilient services. You'll also play a visible role in mentoring engineers, scaling modern practices such as secure DevOps and CI/CD, and shifting engineering from output-focused to outcome-led delivery.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead Product Engineering Execution
  • Own the delivery of high-value features and secure services across the IGS product portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the Principal Engineer to guide architectural decisions.
  • Be the engineering voice in planning, prioritization, and roadmap execution.
  • Foster a High-Performing Engineering Culture
  • Build and lead a team of engineers committed to technical excellence and product value.
  • Mentor engineers to develop mastery and ownership over their craft.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and psychological safety.
  • Deliver Value at Speed and Scale
  • Implement modern engineering practices including automated testing and release strategies.
  • Shift quality, security, and compliance left through embedded controls and automated checks.
  • Ensure systems are observable, performant, and resilient in production.
  • Drive Collaboration and Product Impact
  • Partner with Product teams, Platform Engineering teams, and Controls teams to co-create user journeys that deliver business outcomes.
  • Translate business needs into clear engineering deliverables and technical plans.
  • Lead with influence across cross-functional teams, navigating complexity and aligning trade-offs.
  • Model Engineering Leadership
  • Lead from the front by participating in design sessions and incident reviews.
  • Use evidence, experimentation, and insight to guide decisions and inspire teams.
  • Communicate with clarity, transparency and purpose across all levels, from engineers to executives.
Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of Infrastructure Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5 years of hands-on experience delivering production-grade systems (DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and modern engineering toolchains, etc.).
  • 5 years of experience in cloud-native development/SaaS or platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • 3+ years of experience with Agile or lean methodologies and iterative delivery models.
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience
  • 1+ years of experience with AI/ML or GenAI in an engineering or product context.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Good understanding of digital communication governance and archiving solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with Product and UX teams to deliver user-focused outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a strong problem-solving and technical decision-making skills under ambiguity.
  • Experience working on regulatory or compliance-oriented platforms.
  • Builder's mindset with a passion for coaching engineers and building inclusive, high-ownership teams.
