The Engineering Intern will support the MIS team by resolving bug tickets, writing code in Python, and participating in team tasks.
SUMMARY:
The Engineering Intern will be responsible for supporting our MIS team in various tasks and projects aimed at improving efficiency and productivity. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in engineering and MIS.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Analyzing and resolving bug tickets in Jira
- Collaborating with team members to identify and fix software issues
- Writing and testing code in Python to address bugs and improve system functionality
- Participating in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
- Supporting the team with administrative tasks as needed

- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g. MIS, Computer Science, Engineering)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Familiarity with Jira or other issue tracking systems
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
