The Product:

CrowdStrike Falcon Host is a two-component security product. One component is our “sensor” which is installed on client machines that observes system activity and recognizes malicious behavior, then provides on-box prevention capability and remote telemetry to the Falcon Host cloud. The cloud component aggregates sensor telemetry for each customer’s network, can correlate malicious behavior across multiple machines, and presents our customers with a prioritized summary of the threats detected in their environments.

When main branch health is compromised, we manage merge closures to prevent further issues while working to restore stability. We develop and maintain automation tools that streamline our processes, reducing manual triage efforts and improving overall efficiency in maintaining sensor code quality.

What You’ll Do:

  • Participate in a rotation monitoring Sensor main branch health, implementing necessary interventions to maintain code integrity

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product teams during issue triage and resolution processes

  • Enhance operational visibility by collecting metrics and partnering with our data team to develop comprehensive dashboards

  • Develop automation tools to streamline workflows and optimize day-to-day operational processes

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience

  • Proficiency in Python and Bash programming languages

  • Demonstrated ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement automated

  • solutions

  • Strong understanding of CI/CD orchestration systems such as Jenkins

  • Advanced knowledge of Git version control through Bitbucket or comparable platforms

Bonus Points:

  • Previous experience developing software with C++

  • Familiarity with Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development tools

  • Prior experience with GitLab CI/CD and repository management
