About this team:

The Demand Solutions (DS) team is responsible for growing spend to Magnite supply via our Curator and Clearline product offerings.   We own various parts of the engineering stack for these products including user interfaces, APIs, and our real time distributed systems responsible for ad delivery.   The DS engineering team works closely with adjacent engineering, product, data science teams to design, build and execute end-to-end product features and engineering improvements. 

In this role you will: 

  • Build complex web applications using the latest tooling and JavaScript frameworks, including React, Redux, TypeScript, Webpack/Vite, and ES6+

  • Work with a small team of diverse engineers distributed around the world

  • Write well-tested, documented, and performant code

  • Mentor, educate, and support those around you, and receive the same from other engineers on your team

  • Work in an office in the heart of LA's Silicon Beach, with unlimited snacks and a daily catered lunch

  • Weekly professional development training to learn new technologies, frameworks, and languages

We’re looking for someone with: 

  • Strong JavaScript expertise and 4+ years of experience working as an engineer

  • Experience with Ruby or another backend language

  • A strong understanding of HTML and CSS

  • Previous work with React or another modern web application framework

  • Experience shipping complex and well-tested UI's

  • You are an effective communicator, and have experience writing code in a team setting using source control software like Git/Github

  • You are excited to learn from and teach other engineers, and believe in and practice continuous learning

Nice to have:

  • You have worked with distributed/remote teams

  • Experience deploying web apps via CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Travis, etc.)

  • Experience with typed JavaScript (TypeScript/Flow)

  • Experience with Ruby/Ruby on Rails

  • Experience with Jest and Enzyme

  • Experience with contemporary JavaScript web/build tools (NPM/Yarn, Babel, Webpack/Rollup, etc.)

  • Experience with SCSS, Sass, or Less

  • Experience with React Component Libraries like Ant Design, Material UI, or React Bootstrap

  • You have worked with project management software like JIRA, Asana, or Trello

About Us

The base salary range for this position, across all United States geographies, is $105,000 - $135,000 per year. The upper portion of the salary range is typically reserved for existing employees who demonstrate strong performance over time. 

Only candidates in the following states will be eligible for employment: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, MA, MI, MT, NE, NJ, NY, NC, OK, OR, PA, SC, TX, UT, VA, WA.
