We develop cutting edge space, ground control & dissemination systems, and tactical electronic systems. And we need capable teammates to help model system-of-systems performance, develop key mission level algorithms, and manage interactions between systems elements. This role is focused on developing the next generation of technical leadership in BAE Systems.
The Engineering, Science and Analysis (ESA) Strategic Capabilities Unit comprises the technical talent and organizational leadership that enables the successful delivery of high-impact discriminating technologies for our customers' missions. Our collaborative, cross-functional teams are committed to innovation, integrity, continual learning and strong execution.

  • Conduct trade studies using tools like AFSIM or other Government Off the Shelf (GOTS) and Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) tools.
  • Contribute to the development of new modeling tools - potentially in C++.
  • Validate work against real and simulated data - making corrections for non-ideal data artifacts.
  • Break high-level requirements into derived requirements and develop interface control documents.
  • Document performance metrics for use by software developers, scientists, and customers.
  • Work with a team to develop solutions and approaches to complex systems design challenges
Contribute to completion of project milestones.
