Founded by former Workday clients, we value partnership and engagement as a cornerstone of our business. With years of functional and technical experience in all phases of Workday's deployment life cycle, we can determine the most efficient integration designs and rapid deployment strategies. We develop maintainable solutions and provide support for integration testing and updates for new Workday releases.

The Engagement Executive is a senior client-facing leader responsible for ensuring strategic alignment, delivery excellence, and profitability across large-scale projects and AMS portfolios. This role bridges Project Delivery, AMS, and Pre-Sales functions to create a seamless client experience throughout the full engagement lifecycle — from discovery and contracting through execution and transition to steady-state services. The Engagement Executive oversees relationship health, financial performance, and strategic growth opportunities. This is a billable leadership position at 50% billable that combines client engagement, delivery oversight, and commercial accountability. The role requires an Engagement Manager and Partner Project Manager Certification with Finance Workday sku experience. Must be located within the US or Canada.

As an Intecrowd Engagement Executive your primary responsibilities may include:

Key Expectations:

  • Client Portfolio Leadership
  • Lead a defined portfolio of large-scale projects and AMS clients, typically exceeding $500K in total value.
  • Ensure delivery consistency and quality across multiple workstreams, including projects, AMS, staff augmentation, and phase expansions.
  • Serve as the executive escalation point for both client and internal delivery concerns.
  • Partner with project and delivery leadership to manage profitability, margin performance, and contractual integrity.
  • Uphold Intecrowd standards for delivery excellence, transparency, and client satisfaction.
  • Pre-Sales and Solution Support
  • Participate in discovery and due-diligence sessions to validate solution design and define scope integrity.
  • Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders during proposal and contracting phases.
  • Identify opportunities for scope expansion, service enhancement, and additional phases.
  • Improve win rates by providing delivery insights that align with client objectives and value expectations.
  • Post-Sales Delivery Support
  • Foster ongoing client relationships and participate in leadership or governance calls throughout project execution.
  • Provide executive visibility on objectives, risk areas, and financial performance.
  • Review design and build outcomes to identify potential scope creep and opportunities for change orders.
  • Draft and execute SOW amendments and contract updates in accordance with internal systems and approvals.
  • Support Project Managers with escalation resolution, resourcing coordination, and project risk mitigation.
  • Drive AMS conversion and renewals through relationship leverage and strategic timing.
  • Maintain accountability for overall Intecrowd portfolio profitability and operational health.
  • Workday Relationship Management
  • Strengthen relationships with Workday Delivery, Resource Management, and Partner teams.
  • Act as an escalation and coordination point for joint Prime projects.
  • Proactively identify partnership and delivery support opportunities before they enter the open partner pipeline

Skills and Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise delivery, AMS leadership, or client engagement within a professional services environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Workday or comparable cloud enterprise platforms (ERP/HCM/Financials).
  • Demonstrated success managing multi-stream engagements of $500K+ value.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain executive-level client and partner relationships.
  • Solid financial and commercial acumen, including margin and profitability management.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Skilled at resolving escalations and driving alignment across diverse teams.
  • Comfortable working in a distributed or hybrid environment across global clients.
  • Travel may be required up to ~20% and may include international travel.
