CLA is looking to hire an Enablement Content Strategy & Development Director to join our Transformation Team.

About the role:

This role is responsible for leading the development and execution of enablement content that empowers customer-facing teams. They ensure that assets are strategically aligned to go-to-market priorities, tailored to personas and buyer journeys, and optimized for adoption.

Essential Job Functions:

The below functions reflect the general details of the essential work activities and accountabilities of this position and are not all inclusive. Other activities may be assigned.

  • Content Strategy and Alignment
    • Lead the development and execution of enablement content strategies that support go-to-market priorities, buyer journeys, and persona-specific needs.
    • Translate enablement priorities into strategic content plans and roadmaps, defining focus areas, sequencing, and success measures.
    • Identify gaps in enablement content and propose remediation plans.
    • Partner with Marketing team to align enablement content with campaign strategies and field-facing messaging.
  • Content Development and Curation
    • Partner with Industry Leaders and Service Line SMEs, to create, curate, and manage enablement assets, including playbooks, talk tracks, objection-handling materials, product guides, and microlearning content.
    • Ensure complex concepts are translated into clear, actionable content that supports seller conversations and client needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with Learning & Development, stakeholders to ensure content complements training and aligns with brand and campaign narratives
    • Facilitate workshops with subject matter experts to co-create impactful enablement materials.
  • Content Adoption and Impact
    • Monitor enablement content usage and adoption, gather seller and stakeholder feedback, and report on impact by linking content effectiveness to pipeline and revenue outcomes.
  • Discoverability and Optimization
    • Drive a content governance process to ensure accuracy, brand compliance, messaging consistency, and relevance.
    • Apply metadata and taxonomy standards to ensure content is easily searchable and discoverable.
    • Oversee audits to retire outdated materials and refresh content on a set cadence.

What you will need:

Experience

  • 7 years of relevant experience require in sales enablement, content strategy, instructional design, or related roles preferred

Education

  • Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.
    • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field preferred

Technical Competencies

Proficiency in content management systems and enablement platforms.

Experience in professional services enablement programs.

Knowledge of sales methodologies (e.g., Rainmaker, Challenger, MEDDICC) and how content supports them.

Familiarity with buyer journey frameworks.

Familiarity with sales enablement platforms.

Experience teaming with marketing teams to align enablement strategy with demand gen and campaign strategies.
