An overview of this roleAbout the Role

We are seeking an experienced Enablement Content Manager to develop and execute comprehensive sales enablement programs that equip our field teams with the content, materials, and training necessary to effectively differentiate and sell GitLab's solutions.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and lead the successful execution of sales enablement programs to ensure our internal field is equipped with content, material and training to effectively differentiate and sell the GitLab solution
  • Collaborate with marketing and other subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify and develop core sales training and enablement curriculum for the field
  • Scope and build new enablement content, including programs focused on product knowledge, skill development, onboarding, leadership development, and other key areas
  • Ensure alignment of sales enablement content with key internal and external events, such as new product releases, campaigns, and essential industry trade shows
  • Manage and drive online, self-paced onboarding and result-driven continuous learning initiatives
  • Leverage Salesforce.com CRM infrastructure and other tools to inform the content development process
  • Develop sales competency assessment programs, as well as partner certification programs
  • Determine opportunities for improving the sales learning experience and identify innovative techniques for content delivery
What You'll Bring
  • Demonstrated progressive experience in a software sales or sales enablement role
  • Proven ability to consistently meet deadlines and execute projects with positive stakeholder impact
  • Experience using content development tools, project management software, and AI capabilities
  • Software sales or sales enablement experience, preferably with expertise in DevOps and/or Open Source technologies
  • Working knowledge of sales training technology and methodologies (Command of the Message); demonstrable experience with sales enablement concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Relevant experience preparing, developing, and executing sales effectiveness strategies, tactics and action plans
  • Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and explain them to audiences of varying technical expertise (sales teams, customers, channel partners, and internal support partners)
  • Strong ability to interact and influence effectively with field sales professionals and management
  • Exceptional written/verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills, skilled at project and change management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment
  • Ability to use GitLab

Remote-Global

The base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently for residents of listed locations only. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. See more information on our benefits and equity. Sales roles are also eligible for incentive pay targeted at up to 100% of the offered base salary.

$98,600$174,000 USD
