Lucyd Media is a social advertising agency, specializing in the compliant advertising for CBD, Cannabis, and other DTC wellness e-commerce brands. Our mission is reduce human suffering and maximize human potential by facilitating the distribution of Conscious Compounds™.
We are currently seeking a strong Email Marketing Strategist to lead the charge on our DTC retention initiatives. This is a chance to both pioneer and shape the future of our Email Marketing department.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • A solid foundation of 3+ years in email marketing, preferably in an eCommerce setting.
  • Proven skills in both the tactical and strategic management of large-scale email lists (100,000+ subscribers) using Klaviyo.
  • A sharp eye for design and stellar copywriting skills to ensure every email is a brand ambassador. While you won’t need to own the design of the emails, you will need the eye and the skill to communicate what you want.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal) for collaborating with the internal team and meeting with clients.
  • A strong command of Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and campaign tracking.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, adept at juggling multiple projects while maintaining top-notch productivity and prioritization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage client expectations and maintain strong relationships.

Success Roadmap:

In 30 Days, You’ll:

  • Lay the groundwork for a successful email marketing launch, including refining services and systems, and establishing scalable tools for efficient processes.
  • Assess the current state of email marketing across client accounts, proposing improvement strategies and implementation roadmaps.
  • Partner with operations to identify and recruit key team members, planning for healthy growth.

In 60 Days, You’ll:

  • Successfully onboard existing advertising clients into our email service, implementing strategies to boost engagement and repeat business.
  • Identify and seize opportunities for additional services, continuously refining tools and processes based on feedback and latest industry practices.
  • Advance the hiring process for additional team members as needed.

In 90 Days, You’ll:

  • Deliver tangible growth in key metrics for clients enrolled in email services, such as client engagement, open rates, CTR, and overall ROI for email campaigns.
  • Forge strong, service-oriented client relationships, marked by clear communication and deep understanding of client needs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align strategies and goals.
  • Partner with operations to begin implementing a long-term vision for the email department.

By Your One-Year Anniversary:

  • Be a recognized leader within the department, known for significant growth in key metrics and overall departmental success.
  • Lead initiatives that result in the expansion of the department’s capabilities, services, or client base.
  • Contribute significantly to the team’s success through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
