The Job:  

We are seeking an experienced eDiscovery Manager with over 25 years of expertise in managing complex eDiscovery projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of legal processes, data management, and technology solutions related to eDiscovery. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

As an eDiscovery Manager, you’ll be part of our Legal team working as a remote employee.    You’ll get to:  

  • Lead and manage eDiscovery projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement eDiscovery strategies, protocols, and best practices to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
  • Oversee the collection, preservation, processing, review, and production of electronically stored information (ESI).
  • Collaborate with legal teams, IT departments, and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of eDiscovery processes.
  • Provide expert guidance on eDiscovery tools, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges in eDiscovery projects.
  • Stay current with industry trends, legal developments, and emerging technologies in eDiscovery.
  • Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.

The Person:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 25 years of experience in eDiscovery management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • In-depth knowledge of eDiscovery processes, including data collection, preservation, processing, review, and production.
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to eDiscovery.
  • Proficiency in eDiscovery tools and technologies, such as Relativity, Nuix, and other industry-standard platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Certification in eDiscovery (e.g., Certified eDiscovery Specialist) is a plus.
