Ritual is building a sovereign, execution layer for AI, with our private testnet already live and running. About the role

As an Ecosystem Engineer at Ritual, you will be at the forefront of emerging AI and blockchain technologies, building compelling proof-of-concepts that showcase Ritual's capabilities. You'll identify and leverage cutting-edge frameworks and tools—particularly in autonomous agents, AI infrastructure, and cross-chain interactions—to demonstrate what's possible with Ritual's platform. Your work will directly inspire and enable developers to build the next generation of AI-native blockchain applications.

  • Drive and own ecosystem growth experiments to optimize developer onboarding and product adoption
  • Track and deeply understand emerging technologies at the intersection of AI and blockchain, particularly in areas like autonomous agents, AI orchestration, and decentralized compute
  • Build exciting proof-of-concepts that demonstrate Ritual's capabilities using the latest frameworks and tools
  • Rapidly prototype and validate new integration patterns as novel AI + blockchain technologies emerge
  • Create reference implementations that showcase how developers can leverage Ritual's infrastructure
  • Drive technical partnerships by building demos that highlight unique integration possibilities
  • Develop sample applications and tutorials that make it easy for partners to get started
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the developer ecosystem's needs and emerging use cases
  • Create technical content and resources to educate developers about Ritual's capabilities
About you
  • Strong engineering foundation with expertise in TypeScript and/or Python
  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly prototype and validate new technologies
  • Deep understanding of the AI + blockchain ecosystem and emerging frameworks
  • Experience building with autonomous agent frameworks and AI orchestration tools
  • Hands-on experience with Solidity and EVM smart contract development
  • Proficiency with web3 development tools and libraries (Ethers, Viem, Foundry, etc.)
  • Strong product intuition and ability to identify compelling use cases
  • Experience building and shipping user-facing products with demonstrable impact
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively across teams
  • Passion for staying current with bleeding-edge technology trends
  • Ability to act quickly under high pressure scenarios and context switch at a high frequency
  • A high level of end-to-end ownership and self-direction, with excellent communication skills
  • Hungry, high-energy and ability to work within and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have
  • Background in developer relations or developer advocacy
  • Track record of contributing to or maintaining open-source projects
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Understanding of distributed systems and blockchain architecture
  • Previous experience at a web3 company
  • Experience with data analysis and experimentation frameworks
  • History of successful technical content creation
