This position will be based in the Charlotte, NC HQ; hybrid work policy model.
All About the Role:
We are seeking a strategic, data‑driven Ecommerce Marketplace Manager to accelerate growth across existing marketplaces (e.g., Walmart) and lead expansion into new platforms. This role is responsible for marketplace merchandising, performance optimization, promotional planning, and operational execution to ensure product visibility, profitability, and a best‑in‑class customer experience.
Success in this role requires strong analytical capabilities, excellent cross-functional collaboration, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving e-commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and optimize marketplace accounts (e.g., Walmart.com), ensuring accurate product listings, pricing, and promotional execution
Drive marketplace growth by identifying, evaluating, and launching new marketplace opportunities (e.g., Best Buy, Lowe’s, Target, TikTok Shop)
Analyze performance metrics, including sales, traffic, conversion, and profitability, and deliver actionable reporting and insights
Oversee demand planning and forecasting; partner with Operations to maintain optimal inventory levels across distribution centers and marketplace fulfillment services
Lead marketplace advertising strategy, manage agency partners, and optimize paid media budgets to achieve target ROAS and profitability
Monitor marketplace policies and platform updates, ensuring full compliance and implementing required adjustments
Collaborate with customer experience teams to resolve returns, refunds, and consumer issues; review feedback to improve content and product strategy
Partner with internal teams (Marketing, Finance, Operations) to execute marketplace initiatives and ensure seamless launch readiness and promotional activity
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of experience in e-commerce sales, marketplace operations, merchandising, marketing, or a related field
Proven experience managing marketplace accounts (Walmart or Amazon required)
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Google Analytics, and dashboard reporting tools
Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects and work independently in a fast-paced environment
