Key Responsibilities
E-Commerce Strategy & Financial Ownership
- Own the E-Commerce P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and driving accountability for all revenue, margin, and operating expenses related to the DTC channel.
- Define the long-term digital strategy and roadmap for the e-commerce channel, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and market opportunities.
- Direct the overall site taxonomy, navigation, and user experience to maximize product discoverability and streamline the path-to-purchase.
- Establish and enforce best practices for product lifecycle management online, ensuring data integrity and effective SKU enrichment and categorization.
- Actively lead site UX development by partnering with design, reviewing key customer flows, and participating in testing to ensure a frictionless shopping experience.
- Own the strategy for Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), setting goals, directing resource allocation, and overseeing the testing roadmap across all site funnels.
- Drive advanced personalization and recommendation engines (e.g., Dynamic Yield, Nosto, Bloomreach) to deliver individualized customer experiences at scale.
- Utilize advanced analytics (GA4, Looker Studio) to identify systemic friction points and define major, high-impact site improvements.
- Direct the planning and flawless execution of all high-priority site initiatives, including seasonal launches, sitewide promotions, and major new product rollouts.
- Partner with Creative and Content teams to ensure merchandising assets reflect brand standards and support the user journey.
- Conduct regular QA/UAT to verify accuracy of content, product data, SEO tags, and technical functionality across desktop and mobile.
- Drive continuous improvements across merchandising, CRO, and site operations, ensuring the team follows consistent processes that support ongoing growth and performance.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in E-Commerce leadership, with at least 3 years in a Director or Senior Manager capacity, preferably managing a high-growth DTC brand.
- Proven track record of P&L management and successfully scaling a multi-million dollar e-commerce business.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience building, coaching, and managing a team of direct reports.
- Mastery of digital shopping behavior, advanced funnel optimization techniques, and interpreting complex analytics to inform strategic investment decisions.
- Estimated salary range: $120,000 – $150,000, commensurate with experience and scope of responsibilities.
