RequirementsKey Responsibilities
Log in to optical transport equipment for configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting (TL1 experience preferred).
Provision, activate, and validate DWDM/SONET/OTN services and circuits.
Work with NMS systems for topology, performance, and fault management.
Perform detailed audits and tracing of end-to-end services/circuits.
Execute network upgrades, migrations, and cutovers with minimal downtime.
Create and update documentation for circuits, configurations, and migration plans.
Collaborate with internal teams during maintenance windows and project deployments.
Strong knowledge of DWDM, SONET/SDH, OTN, optical line systems, and transport technologies.
Hands-on experience in provisioning, auditing, and migrating optical circuits.
Familiarity with TL1, CLI, and multi-vendor network elements.
Experience with NMS platforms for monitoring and circuit management.
Excellent communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3–10+ years of experience with optical transport technologies.
