This role is based at Gabreski ANG Base, NY, where you will work directly with customers to support the R391 (C130J) Composite Propeller System and related components. Role Overview

As a Dowty Field Services Representative, you will provide technical direction and assistance to customers in the operation, maintenance, repair, and logistic support of GE products. This full-time role involves hands-on repair and maintenance of the Composite Propeller System and related components, as well as supporting program management and field service activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical direction and assistance to customers in the operation, maintenance, repair, and installation of GE products.
  • Interpret data and technical instructions on-site to support customer needs.
  • Communicate program status, customer problems, failures, trends, and opportunities to Product Support and Field Service teams through regular reports.
  • Assist customers in scheduling maintenance and workload, ensuring parts meet established schedules.
  • Perform intermediate and depot-level maintenance, including hands-on repair and maintenance of Composite Propeller Systems and related components.
  • Review the effectiveness of maintenance actions to identify training needs and recommend improvements.
  • Anticipate program requirements and assist in implementing actions to satisfy those needs.
  • Provide market intelligence and identify sales opportunities for assigned programs.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of aviation experience in a Field Service or Maintenance position).
  • Minimum of 2 years performing extensive repairs, conversions, and maintenance on engines and/or propeller systems.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 65 lbs.
  • Must pass a non-DOT drug test and a background check.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Proven analytical and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to interface effectively at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally.
Additional Information
  • Scheduled weekly hours: 40 hours.
  • Work shift: 1st Shift (United States of America).
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. The base pay range for this position is $106,504-130,00.00 USD Annual The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan.
