Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Documentation and Training Specialist will serve as the primary administrator for the Learning Management System (LMS), training development website, collaborating closely with subject matter experts, training managers, and other key stakeholders. This role is responsible for managing and overseeing all training-related functions, including tracking and reporting expenditures, coordinating material updates, and ensuring smooth LMS operations. Additionally, the Documentation and Training Specialist will actively participate in evaluating training needs and provide valuable input to the Manufacturing, Distribution, and Fulfillment training team for the design and enhancement of both new and existing curriculum. The position will also ensure that all training programs and materials remain current and aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with assessing, designing, developing, and evaluating learning solutions using instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles; including creating teaching aids, multimedia content, and ensuring consistent application of style guides for various learning environments
- Manage department project deliverables and timelines to achieve goals, objectives, and quality expectations for initiatives
- Administer the Manufacturing LMS, manage employee training records and certifications, track instructor capacity, and oversee project deliverables and budgets for the training department
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and 2 years of experience; or 5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills and Qualifications:
- Intermediate proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, Illustrator), Google Suite (Slides, Docs, Sheets), and basic proficiency in e-learning software such as Articulate 360 and Adobe
- Proficient in the ADDIE instructional design model, with familiarity in others (e.g., SAM) and evaluation methods like Kirkpatrick
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a preference for experience in PM software (e.g., Hive)
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to interpret and create technical documentation and present effectively to groups; capable of performing financial calculations, interpreting data, and solving practical problems efficiently
- High-level computer expertise, including database, spreadsheet, and presentation applications; preferred experience in training others on software; advanced knowledge of Web design and development, and significant exposure to LMS design and development
- Self-directed, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment; possesses a collaborative approach, exercises discretion, maintains confidentiality, and effectively utilizes resources
