DMS Data Engineer

Leads applied AI research and builds production-grade healthcare AI systems, including LLM applications, agentic workflows, RAG pipelines, and machine learning services. Partners with executive stakeholders, evaluates models and architectures, establishes automated testing and monitoring, and owns systems from experimentation through reliable operation. Embeds security, privacy, responsible AI, access controls, and human oversight. Sets technical direction, creates reusable platforms and standards, mentors engineers, and delivers solutions across ambiguous, enterprise-wide initiatives.

Leads healthcare payer operations consulting workstreams, including analysis, financial modeling, process documentation, client presentations, recommendations, and project coordination. Applies expertise across claims, payment integrity, provider and member services, appeals, compliance, reporting, and performance management. Manages client communications, identifies risks, supports problem solving, contributes to practice development, and mentors junior staff. The role requires healthcare payer experience, analytical skills, consulting capabilities, and travel up to 50%.

Leads strategic analytics and applied AI initiatives from ambiguous problem definition through implementation. Develops analytical frameworks, forecasts, decision models, scalable data pipelines, automation, and machine learning solutions. Translates complex findings into executive recommendations, establishes quality and documentation standards, reviews technical work, mentors analysts and data scientists, and partners with business, clinical, operational, technology, data, and governance stakeholders to deliver measurable improvements.
