How You Will Contribute/Position Summary:

The Division Director of Outpatient Operations is responsible for overseeing clinical and operational aspects of assigned Pasadena Villa PHP and IOP outpatient locations. Position provides day-to-day leadership for primary facility while providing oversight and guidance to Executive Directors at assigned facilities. Ensures facilities consistently deliver evidence-based care, maintain regulatory compliance, and drive Key Performance Indicators at assigned locations. The Director of Outpatient Operations partners with all support departments to carry out the mission.

Relationships and Contacts:

Within the organization: Builds and maintains professional relationships with team members in Admissions, Clinical, Business Development, Revenue Cycle, Utilization Review, Compliance, and Human Resources.

Outside the organization: Builds and maintains strong professional relationships with clinical and healthcare providers, community partners, vendors, and potential clients/families.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with Executive Directors and clinical team members, ensuring excellence in clinical delivery in accordance with established guidelines and program philosophy.
  • Ensures achievement of business objectives through day-to-day operational, financial, clinical, and regulatory oversite of their primary outpatient facility as well as facilities assigned.
  • Accountable for the business development, networking, and outreach strategies in the local market.
  • Promotes the services of assigned Pasadena Villa Outpatient Facilities.
  • Internally-with OBH facilities, support services, and local team.
  • Externally-site tours, external events, local media, community organizations, and community partners.
  • Ensures accessibility of services to potential clients. i.e., programming options, evaluating hours, facility conditions, etc.
  • Collaborates with key members of OBH to foster efficient communication and collaboration between admissions, revenue cycle, HR, and clinical team.
  • Promotes professional growth and development of the team, championing effective teamwork and critical thinking.
  • Establishes and maintains professional working relationships with physicians, referral sources, families, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensures compliance with all licensures, accreditations, contracts, state, and federal laws.
  • Participates in performance improvement initiatives for patient care and team performance.
  • Development, implementation, and enforcement of all policies and procedures, including patient rights.
  • Assesses clinical quality and client needs through outcome surveys, suggestions, and meetings to assure consistent, quality care for the population we serve to include follow-up with adjustments of the development of the program.
  • Monitors and reports on key performance indicators; adjusting operations accordingly to meet organizational objectives.
  • In conjunction with Outpatient Leadership team, manages financial operations ensuring responsible stewardship of company resources.
  • Establishes clear patterns of authority, responsibility, supervision, and communication with staff, including regular documented staff meetings and individual supervision with direct reports.
  • Provides coaching and feedback for staff development and performance improvement.
  • Creates and maintains an open-door environment and is present and visible in the treatment areas.
Qualifications

Education and Experience

Position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent: or 5 years related experience and/or training in a behavioral or medical healthcare setting. Minimum of 3 years leadership experience; multi-site experience preferred.

Additional Requirements

· Position requires incumbent to have a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and acceptable driving record.
