The Role

As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world.
There’s never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You’ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

Federal Government Secret Level II Clearance required or ability to obtain within short notice.

5 to 7 years of experience in:

Middleware Platforms:

• Bizztalk experience

• Strong Microsoft IIS experience

• PingID software

• IBM GKLM knowledge / experience (old SKLM)

• Miscellaneous small tools eg browsers, file management, PowerShell scripting

• Denodo awareness

• ArcGIS awareness

• RSA Authentication Manager knowledge/experience

Operating Systems:

• Strong Microsoft Windows Server knowledge

• Red Hat Linux platform knowledge/experience

• AIX platform knowledge/experience

Availability:

Willingness to provide 24x7 support and participate in an on-call rotation.

Evenings and weekend work as required.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong documentation skills to maintain accurate records of configurations and troubleshooting steps.
• Understanding of IT policies and industry regulations.
• Fluent English, french would be an asset
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or other ITSM tools for workflow integration and reporting
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to lead technical workshops and executive reviews.
• In-depth knowledge of Middleware, performance tuning , troubleshooting post patching.

Problem and Change Management is essential to this role.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Automation experience, especially IaaS (infrastructure as a code)

• Vulnerability management

• Microsoft Active Directory

This position requires the employee to work on a regular basis with Kyndryl stakeholders located in other Canadian provinces, the United States, or internationally where English is the common language, making knowledge of the English language a requirement for this position in addition to fluency in French.
