Role Overview
Circana is seeking a dynamic and results-driven leader to serve as the Director of Value Realization. You will lead the design and implementation of value realization strategies for micro-automations—small, targeted automation solutions designed to quickly eliminate manual tasks and improve efficiency without large-scale system changes. These initiatives deliver rapid impact and scalability across business processes. Your responsibilities include defining KPIs, validating business cases, managing end-to-end benefit tracking, and driving idea generation and sourcing to build a strong pipeline of automation opportunities. You will oversee Value Architects who partner with business units to identify and shape solutions, as well as Build Pods responsible for developing and deploying automation at speed. The role demands strong leadership in managing complex programs, advanced analytical skills to drive data-informed decisions, ensuring that micro-automation initiatives deliver measurable business impact.
Job Responsibilities
- Program Design & Leadership: Build and lead the end-to-end micro-automation value realization program, including governance, processes, and performance frameworks.
- Pipeline Development: Drive idea generation and sourcing across business units; establish mechanisms to capture, prioritize, and validate automation opportunities.
- Value Quantification: Oversee rigorous business case development and benefit modeling to ensure initiatives deliver measurable impact.
- Execution Enablement: Manage the flow of approved ideas into Build Pods for rapid development and deployment, ensuring high velocity and quality delivery.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Value Architects and Build Pod resources, fostering collaboration and capability building.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to align priorities, secure buy-in, and maintain transparency.
- Performance Tracking: Implement KPI dashboards and reporting systems to monitor pipeline health, delivery speed, and realized business value.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to processes, tools, and methodologies to accelerate automation adoption and maximize ROI.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years in program management, business transformation, or continuous improvement roles, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams, analyzing business opportunities, developing actionable strategies, and implementing operational efficiencies that deliver measurable value.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with automation technologies (RPA, ETL, ML/LLM) and tools such as Power Automate, Python, Airflow, OCR, Intelligent Suite, and Copilot Studio. Proficiency in analytics and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, Monday.com, JIRA or similar).
- Leadership and Soft Skills: Strong strategic thinking, analytical mindset, and communication skills. Ability to manage complex portfolios and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders. Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting and interlocks.
- Other Requirements: Proven ability to manage projects using Agile and Scrum methodologies, leading iterative delivery cycles that accelerate time-to-value and enable rapid deployment of automation solutions. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Willingness to travel as needed (up to 20%).
