Mediafly is seeking a Director, Value Engineering to lead our efforts in creating and delivering impactful value propositions for our clients. As a Director, Value Engineering, you will spearhead the development and execution of value engineering strategies that enhance our Value solutions and support our sales and customer success initiatives. You will be a key leader on a team of Value Engineering experts dedicated to leveraging Mediafly’s solutions to help Mediafly customers deploy, grow, and maintain effective Value solutions. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that our value engineering practices resonate with clients and internal stakeholders, contributing to Mediafly’s reputation as a leader in the Revenue Enablement industry.

Responsibilities of a Director, Value Engineering:

  • Partner with a diverse set of Customers and their sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams to develop compelling value propositions, sales narratives, and ROI models tailored to target audiences.
  • Independently lead the development and implementation of value-based selling methodologies, tools, and processes to drive consistency and scalability within customer organizations.
  • Conduct value discovery workshops with clients to uncover their business challenges, goals, and desired outcomes, and translate them into value-based solutions.
  • Conduct deep data analysis and primary research to assess customer pain points, potential cost savings, and revenue growth opportunities.
  • Translate Value-based selling programs into Mediafly’s Value ToolBuilder and Custom Value SaaS solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Mediafly’s solutions, features, and capabilities, as well as the competitive landscape and industry trends.
  • Support sales on strategic opportunities to provide subject matter expertise.
  • Create and deliver persuasive presentations, business cases, and ROI analyses to effectively communicate the value of Mediafly’s solutions to prospective and existing clients, including C-level executives.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on value selling best practices, methodologies, and tools, and provide training and enablement support to internal teams. Coaching and support of the Value Engineering team including project oversight, task assignments, balancing team responsibilities and helping the team develop and reach goals.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship and support to the Value engineering team and drive excellence in value selling practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for product enhancements and new feature development based on customer feedback and market insights.

We would love to work with you if you have:

  • At least 10-12+ years of value engineering, solution consulting, sales engineering or related fields in the SaaS industry required. 
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Analytics, Engineering or related fields is preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth through value based selling and solution positions, with experience leading and mentoring teams.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong expertise in financial metrics such as ROI, TCO, and NPV.
  • Exceptional proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Highly developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strategic mindset with a customer-centric focus and a passion for driving customer success.
  • Strong customer-facing skills, executive presence with the ability to build credibility and trust with senior executives and VP/Director/Manager/Analyst levels within customer accounts.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies and technologies, including SaaS, APIs, and integrations preferred.
  • Experience with revenue enablement, sales effectiveness, or CRM software platforms is a plus.
  • Expert project and time management skills, with experience leading complex projects that require managing billable and non-billable hours, collaboration with customers, and coordination of internal resources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts for executive audiences leveraging Productivity tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
