Job Summary
The Director of Deployment is integral to ensuring a high-quality user experience for both Sysco's customers and internal teams. This role leads the Deployment team and is responsible for the adoption of Sysco's digital tools through advanced educational programs, strategically managing go-to-market activities for new features, technology initiatives, and facilitating seamless technology integration.
As a senior-level liaison between the product team and end users, this role plays a critical part in shaping product strategy, ensuring that features and updates are effectively communicated, understood, and utilized across the organization. Additionally, the Director of Deployment supports Sysco's various market segments, national sales, and international migration efforts, while overseeing the decommissioning of legacy applications. This role also involves strategic input into product roadmaps, guiding business decisions based on user feedback and market trends.
Duties and Responsibilities
Education Required:
Post-secondary degree or equivalent senior-level experience.
Education Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Experience Required:
7+ years of previous sales or customer support experience
1-2 Years of leadership experience in sales or customer support teams.
Experience Preferred:
3-5 Experience managing an account list directly from a CRM (Salesforce preferred)
Experience with developing channel partners

- Activities: Lead and ensure that enablement programs support current initiatives while anticipating future needs based on market trends, user feedback, and product roadmaps. Work closely with senior leadership to define strategic goals for enablement and ensure the execution of initiatives that align with Sysco's growth and digital transformation strategy.
- Product & Process Oversight
- Objective: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of new product initiatives, pilots, and updates.
- Activities: Identify dependencies and risks, manage resource allocation, and ensure efficient collaboration across departments to keep product initiatives on track. Drive the alignment of cross-functional teams to ensure product rollouts are implemented smoothly and according to business priorities. Ensure the proper documentation and tracking of key milestones.
- Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Objective: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including product, sales, marketing, and international teams.
- Activities: Establish executive-level alignment on product enablement goals, leveraging these relationships to influence product roadmaps and strategic business decisions. - Data-driven Product Feedback & Improvement

Monitor feedback from enablement sessions and refine and enhance training materials based on measurable outcomes. - Implementation of Technology Initiatives
- Objective: Oversee the execution of new technology initiatives, including product rollouts and the decommissioning of legacy systems.
