An internationally award-winning B2B agency embarking on national expansion plans, RedRover Sales & Marketing Strategy – named by the Chamber as one of the “Top 10 Companies to Watch” and by the Business Journal as a "Great Place to Work" – is seeking a Director of Client Strategy with deep experience conducting market research and creating powerful B2B marketing strategies that drive client results that matter such as incremental revenue and gross profit.
Candidates must have at least 5 years market research experience, 5 year’s experience independently crafting B2B marketing strategies with a proven track record of outcomes, and 2 years of experience leading a team. Ideal candidates will also have extensive campaign optimization experience including an understanding of how to fully optimize PPC, SEO, social-media and email marketing strategies for peak performance.
Position Overview
The Director of Strategy, Research and Insights plays a critical role in leading the development of RedRover’s flagship Growth Optimization (GO) Plan. This position is responsible for driving comprehensive market research, including internal and external stakeholder interviews, value proposition and offer analysis, customer journey mapping, transaction data review, marketing performance audits, and customer/prospect surveys. Using these insights, the Director will craft highly customized B2B marketing strategies, complete with a projected ROI that the agency will guarantee to clients. This role also requires strong presentation and sales skills, as you'll be responsible for delivering strategic recommendations to clients and converting them into long-term execution clients.

- Deep experience in B2B marketing lead generation
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong storytelling and converting data and insights into actionable plans
- Market research best practices
- Advanced Excel experience
- Google Analytics experience
- Google Ads experience
- High-level understanding of SEO strategies (on-page, and technical)
- Some hands-on keyboard PPC experience
- Website conversion rate optimization experience
- Hands-on keyboard social-media advertising experience including with LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
- Strong, direct communication style that inspires others to follow your lead
- Experience developing and leading marketing strategies through most every marketing channel
- Strong analytical-thinking skills
- An affinity for results and tangible outcomes
- Excellent follow-through, organization, and project-management skills

- Experience working in an agency or marketing services firm
