About this role:

The Strategy & Operations Director will support the Head of Branch Channel Management by directing business analysis and strategy development, overseeing the delivery of strategic initiatives, preparing executive presentations, facilitating investment planning and financial management, coordinating team operations, managing risk and control activities across the organization, and ensuring alignment between various teams to enhance branch performance and customer satisfaction.

The Strategy & Operations Director will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring adaptability and a proactive approach to addressing challenges and opportunities within the branch channel.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop a team of Business Execution Consultants, Analysts, and Delivery Leads while ensuring successful planning, integration, impasse resolution, and measurement of operations with moderate to high complexity and visibility

  • Direct critical analytical, strategic, and financial analysis to support the Branch Channel Management function

  • Develop senior executive briefings and strategy presentations

  • Execute product routines across an expansive product group

  • Engage functional leaders to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo's policies and business line objectives

  • Identify potential risks when implementing change along with developing mitigation strategies and plans

  • Recommend opportunities for Business Execution process improvement

  • Determine appropriate strategies and actions of multiple business groups to meet moderate to high complexity deliverables

  • Interpret procedures and processes, and provide leadership to strategize and execute a variety of programs, services, and initiatives that are significant in scope, complexity, and risk

  • Collaborate with and influence functional business partners, leaders, and executive management to provide support and drive strategic initiatives for the business

  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution

  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management or leadership experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 4+ years of management or leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working in strategy consulting, business analytics, and/or user-centric product management roles.

  • Subject matter expertise within retail banking, real estate, retail footprint analytics.

  • Demonstrated financial/P&L management acumen.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with attention to detail.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships across all levels of the organization.

  • Leadership experience with a collaborative approach to decision-making.

  • Exceptional presentation skills and executive presence.

  • Demonstrated ability to connect and partner with a diverse array of team members and partners.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
