The Director of Strategic Sourcing at Honeywell leads sourcing strategies for IT procurement, managing a team to negotiate software agreements and optimizing supplier relationships.
At Honeywell, we are driving global transformation within IT and Procurement. In this role, you will be responsible for global sourcing strategy and execution for Honeywell spend in Software (SaaS, cloud, AI, ML, data analytics) with global supplier spend of $300M+. Reporting to the Senior Director Indirect Global IT Sourcing, you will partner closely with IT to understand global strategies needs and develop creative solutions to enable that strategy.
Responsibilities- Lead and develop a team of 6-8 employees
- Negotiate multiyear Master Service Agreements, ELAs/EULAs, cloud and SaaS Agreements
- Negotiate large software license agreements (such as Microsoft, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Snowflake, Ansys, Siemens, iValua, Agiloft, AWS, Azure, Google, etc.)
- Support negotiation of implementation agreements with large IT service providers
- Integrate with IT leadership and IT service owners to jointly develop technology and supplier strategies
- Drive procurement and sourcing requirements with speed, agility, and intelligent risk taking for licensed software and services
- Drive Productivity, spend reduction, improve Working Capital/Cash, and drive balance of trade for the category
- Lead development of supplier plans, scorecards and quarterly business reviews
- Own Supply Base Management, supplier strategies and establish plans for Preferred Suppliers, Tail Spend/Software renewal, etc.
- Support mergers, acquisitions integrations and divestitures
YOU MUST HAVE
- 8-10 years blended experience in strategic sourcing and IT category (i.e working with and managing technology partners with deep experience and understanding of IT Software providers, SaaS, cloud (IaaS/PaaS, data and analytics)
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Supply Chain or Finance

- Experience with agile development frameworks, outsourced IT service and systems integrator models and cloud based platforms for software, marketing, analytics and data management
- MBA/Masters Degree preferred
- P.M. or CPSM certification
- Lean or Blackbelt certification a plus
