Overview: As a Director, Solutions Consulting at Litera, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about driving innovation in the legal technology space. This leader will play a critical role in driving customer product adoption, best-practice consultation, and long-term customer success across our solutions. 

The Director will define and operationalize methodologies, frameworks, and activities that empower our customers to maximize the value of our solutions while strengthening partnerships with key stakeholders. This is a strategic, customer-facing leadership role requiring both technical expertise and business acumen to guide customers on their adoption journey. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Strategy 

    • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing Solution Consulting team. 

    • Define the vision, methodologies, and engagement frameworks for proactive customer adoption and value realization. 

    • Develop standardized playbooks, success plans, and best-practice consultation models. 

  • Customer Product Adoption & Success 

    • Partner with enterprise customers to ensure adoption of core and advanced product capabilities. 

    • Serve as an executive sponsor on key accounts, providing trusted technical and business guidance. 

    • Establish and monitor adoption KPIs, ensuring measurable impact on retention, expansion, and customer satisfaction. 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration 

    • Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Professional Services to align strategies and handoffs. 

    • Provide structured customer feedback to Product and Engineering to influence roadmap priorities. 

    • Partner with Training and Enablement teams to ensure consistent customer education. 

  • Operational Excellence 

    • Implement tools, metrics, and reporting to track team performance and customer adoption outcomes. 

    • Drive continuous improvement in SC methodologies and consultation approaches. 

    • Ensure the team is equipped with the right skills, knowledge, and frameworks to support enterprise-scale adoption. 

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Solution Consulting, Customer Success, Technical Account Management or related leadership roles within SaaS (legal technology experience preferred). 

  • Proven track record of building and scaling teams that drive measurable customer adoption and retention. 

  • Strong consultative skills with the ability to influence executive stakeholders and guide customers on best practices. 

  • Excellent understanding of SaaS delivery models, customer lifecycle, and enterprise adoption challenges. 

  • Experience developing and operationalizing frameworks, playbooks, and methodologies for customer engagement. 

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; ability to define KPIs and drive data-backed decision making. 

  • Exceptional communication and executive presence, with the ability to engage both technical and business leaders.

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, or Washington residents is $165,000 to $185,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Litera offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
