Job Summary:
We are seeking a driven Director of Pricing to develop, optimize and lead the company-wide pricing strategy. This role is critical in shaping our approach to software pricing.  You will get the opportunity to work on exciting new pricing developments in AI and you will work cross-functionally with senior level team members from finance, marketing, sales, data science, and product teams to develop and execute on these pricing strategies. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role requiring a strategic thinker who is also hands-on in execution.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Pricing Strategy: Develop, refine, and implement company-wide pricing strategies to optimize revenue and market positioning.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct research on industry trends, customer behavior, and competitor pricing to inform strategic decisions.
  • Optimize Pricing Models: Ensure pricing aligns with the value of our software solutions while maintaining competitiveness.
  • Manage Pricing Processes: Oversee the full pricing lifecycle, from quoting to invoicing, ensuring a seamless and efficient pricing framework.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with senior leaders across departments, including product, sales, marketing, finance, and data science, to ensure alignment on pricing initiatives.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor key pricing metrics and adjust strategies as needed to optimize growth and profitability.
  • Executive Communication: Present data-driven pricing recommendations to leadership, providing insights on pricing impact and strategy effectiveness.

Job Requirements:

  • Curious & Analytical: You ask the right questions, seek data-driven answers, and challenge assumptions to continuously improve pricing models.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in pricing strategy, finance, corporate strategy, business operations, or consulting, ideally within a technology or SaaS company.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing priorities effectively and focusing on executive on initiatives.
  • Proven track record in setting and optimizing pricing strategies for enterprise software solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in pricing data analysis, financial modeling, and market research.
  • Ability to deconstruct complex problems and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially when interacting with senior leadership.
  • Required Bachelor’s degree

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000 - $200,000 + benefits.  Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location.  The range for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training.  Please note that the compensation details listed reflect the base salary and certain positions may be offered with additional variable incentives.
