Job Overview:
The Director, Salesforce Platform & Product Strategy is a visionary leader responsible for driving the strategic direction, innovation, and operational excellence of the Salesforce ecosystem at Learning A-Z. This role is pivotal in aligning Salesforce capabilities with enterprise goals, enabling scalable growth, and delivering exceptional user experiences across Sales, Customer Enablement, and Operations.
This Director will oversee the Salesforce Engineering & Administration team, support a product-centric mindset, and serve as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders. The Director will shape the roadmap, manage cross-functional initiatives, and ensure Salesforce is leveraged as a transformative platform for business success.
Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
Define and own the long-term vision and roadmap for Salesforce as a strategic business platform.
Align Salesforce strategy with organizational priorities, driving innovation and measurable impact.
Serve as a thought leader and trusted advisor to executive stakeholders on platform capabilities and opportunities.
Cross-Functional Influence
Partner with senior leaders across Sales, Customer Success, Operations, and Technology to identify and prioritize high-impact initiatives.
Facilitate strategic planning and influence decision-making across departments.
Promote change management and user adoption strategies to maximize platform value.
Product Ownership & Delivery
Manage the end-to-end Salesforce product lifecycle, from ideation to delivery and continuous improvement.
Manage a dynamic backlog of initiatives, balancing strategic goals with operational needs.
Foster agile practices and a culture of experimentation, learning, and iteration.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing Salesforce Engineering & admin team.
Set clear goals, measure performance, and drive accountability.
Oversee Salesforce consultants and vendors as necessary to achieve the business’ goals.
Cultivate a culture of innovation, inclusion, and professional development.
Operational Excellence
Ensure platform stability, scalability, and security in partnership with technical teams.
Optimize business processes through automation, integration, and data-driven insights.
Monitor KPIs and platform performance to inform continuous improvement and strategic outcomes.
Job Requirements:
10+ years of progressive experience in Salesforce administration, product ownership, or platform strategy, with 5+ years experiencing managing a Salesforce or technical team.
7+ years as a certified Salesforce Administrator.
Proven success leading cross-functional teams and delivering strategic platform initiatives.
Deep expertise in Salesforce architecture, configuration, and third-party integrations.
Proven business acumen and ability to translate complex needs into actionable solutions.
Experience in Agile product development and enterprise change management.
Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and influence skills.
Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Product Owner, etc.) highly preferred.
Experience in SaaS, EdTech, or high-growth environments is a plus.
