The Role

As a Director of Sales (Pharma Digital Factory), you will be responsible for owning the sales cycle from lead to close for SCW.AI's Digital Factory platform globally with particular focus in North America and Europe. You will work with prospects to understand their needs and pain points, and then present SCW.AI's vision, solutions and experience in solving these challenges.

You will work closely with the business development & leadership team members to close deals and managing customer relationships. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven leader to strengthen our leadership in the pharma manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals.
  • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential clients, discovering and exploring opportunities, informing them about new developments with the company’s products/services, and making presentations on products/services offerings.
  • Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; and recommending engagements.
  • Develops negotiating strategies and positions by evaluating a new client’s needs with company strategies and operations; examining risks and sales potential; estimating partners' needs and goals.
  • Drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition and expansion of existing accounts. Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing quotes and proposals, negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with Business Operations, Product Development, Digital Innovation and Client Services teams for product/service delivery.
  • Works with Business Operations, Product Development, Digital Innovation, and Client Services teams to ensure contracted products/services are being successfully delivered to the client’s satisfaction.
  • Enhances organization reputation by initiating and/or accepting ownership for new and different initiatives; exploring additional opportunities to add value to the company and its clients.
  • Keep a structured, process & data-driven and scalable sales approach through the use of company’s targets.
  • Maintain strong internal/external multilevel relationships and use these relationships to identify and develop new sales opportunities and portfolio development.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and projections to investors, board members, and other stakeholders. Ensure clear and transparent communication of performance and strategy.

Desired Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:  

  • Deep Experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry
  • At least 7 years of experience in selling B2B Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Cloud solutions to pharmaceutical executives
  • 10+ years of experience in an account executive or sales roles which manages enterprise deals
  • Understanding and judgment of project acquisition and contacts with prospects.
  • Solid understanding of P&L and ability to build business case for sales growth investments
  • Proven experience developing and executing strategies for sales growth
  • Creative, decisive, high energy and ability to energize and inspire others
  • Self-starter attitude with ownership mindset creating new outreach strategies for new lead generation methods.
  • Passion and interest for industrial applications of digital solutions/Industry 4.0
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with public speaking experience
  • Motivation to work in international teams and organizations
  • Preferably Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management or a similar field
  • Experience at using and  leading CRM Platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce..etc.) to track & report performance metrics.
