Leads partner-led and enterprise sales growth, primarily through AWS and Microsoft ecosystems. Builds strategic partnerships, develops enterprise accounts, drives end-to-end sales cycles, expands SMB sales processes, positions cloud and digital engineering capabilities, and manages pipeline forecasting. The role also helps shape sales strategy, organization, and scalable go-to-market processes.
Emumba is looking for a Director Sales to drive the next phase of our partner-led and enterprise growth, with AWS and Microsoft as the two primary focal areas. We are looking for someone who can build a strong AWS partner-led business and leverage a proven Microsoft background to expand existing relationships and unlock new enterprise opportunities. This role will also be key in developing strategic channels, partnerships, and new avenues for growth.
What You’ll Do
- Build and execute Emumba’s AWS partner-led sales strategy, developing ecosystem relationships and converting them into qualified pipeline and services engagements.
- Grow our Microsoft business by expanding existing relationships, identifying new stakeholders and opportunities, and driving enterprise engagements.
- Develop new enterprise accounts, strategic partnerships, and routes to market beyond our existing footprint.
- Drive end-to-end sales cycles across partner-led, new-logo, and land-and-expand opportunities.
- Work closely with our sales team to scale the SMB sales motion, strengthening processes, pipeline discipline, and go-to-market execution.
- Partner with delivery, marketing, and leadership teams to position Emumba’s GenAI, Agentic AI, Data, and DevOps capabilities for market opportunities.
- Build a healthy, predictable pipeline and provide strong forecasting and commercial visibility.
- Help shape the sales organization, processes, and strategy as Emumba’s business scales.
What We’re Looking For
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise technology sales, strategic accounts, partner sales, or business development.
- Deep experience with the AWS partner ecosystem, including partner-led sales, alliances, co-selling, or similar routes to market.
- Should have the reach and influence to grow Emumba’s footprint within Microsoft and unlock new enterprise opportunities.
- Proven success selling technology services, cloud, consulting, or digital engineering solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to build new business while expanding strategic accounts and partnerships.
- Strong commercial, negotiation, forecasting, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience mentoring or leading sales teams is a strong plus.
- Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in building relationships and closing business.
- Building a strong and repeatable AWS partner-led revenue motion.
- Growing and deepening Emumba’s Microsoft business.
- Opening new enterprise accounts, channels, and strategic partnerships.
- Building a qualified pipeline that supports sustained revenue growth.
- Helping establish a scalable sales organization and strengthening the SMB motion.
Compensation
- Base Salary: USD 130,000 +/year (negotiable)
- Target Commission: USD 130,000 +/year (negotiable)
- Accelerators: Up to 2x variable compensation
- Benefits: Employer-sponsored health insurance
- Travel Budget: USD 10,000/year, subject to prior approval
Commission structure and quotas will be reviewed annually as the business scales.
