At Botanic Tonics, we know our world is fast, noisy and distracting. It can easily leave us feeling tied up, strung out and not ourselves. Maybe you think the more supercharged you are, the better you’ll be. Maybe escape is the only way for you to truly feel free. We’re not judging — we just have a different point of view. Because we’re not a fuel for keeping pace with the rat-race of every day. We’re not an elixir that transports you through the clouds to a tranquil place. We’re kava products with blends of other naturally active ingredients, designed to bring you down to earth and into the present, so you can make the most of every moment.
Why waste effort trying to quiet the noise when you can tune into it, to hear the one voice that matters? We believe choosing to engage with the here and now is more fulfilling. It makes us feel good, enriches our lives, and brings out our best selves.
Be Present. Be You. When you can truly be there, you feel free.

Overview

We’re seeking a forward-thinking, business-savvy Director of Sales Insights & Analytics to lead the charge in transforming raw data into strategic foresight. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to the CSO and CEO, proactively uncovering trends, opportunities, and risks that influence the company’s growth strategy.

This isn’t just about reporting on what happened—it’s about anticipating what’s next. You’ll lead efforts to analyze sales performance, identify emerging patterns, and deliver insights that directly impact high-level decisions and long-term planning.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Insight & Foresight

  • Proactively monitor internal and external sales data to anticipate market shifts, customer behavior trends, and emerging business opportunities.

  • Deliver insights that shape sales strategy, drive commercial decision-making, and influence executive-level conversations.

  • Build data narratives that connect today’s performance to tomorrow’s strategy.

  • Identify relevant industry trends and emerging market opportunities that can be leveraged by the National Account Sales Team for business development, customer engagement, and account expansion.

  • Generate trade-ready insights and milestones that can be used by the Communications and Marketing teams to amplify brand credibility and retail influence.

Sales Analytics & Reporting

  • Own the development of high-impact dashboards, scorecards, and reports that help leadership understand sales performance across all channels.

  • Analyze sell-in and sell-through trends, customer data, and competitive performance to drive revenue growth and optimize channel mix.

Executive Support & Communication

  • Partner directly with the CSO and CEO to deliver strategic insights that inform company direction, board-level updates, and investor conversations.

  • Simplify complex data into clear, actionable narratives tailored for executive stakeholders.

Forecasting & Planning

  • Lead and refine sales forecasting models in collaboration with CSO and CEO, ensuring accurate visibility into future revenue.

  • Identify risks and opportunities in the pipeline before they impact results.

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the analytical engine across Sales, Marketing, and Finance—connecting the dots between performance, customer behavior, and product mix.

  • Influence go-to-market decisions and support the development of new markets through data-driven insights.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Sales Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Strategic Insights, preferably in FMCG within the C-store channel.

  • Proven ability to anticipate trends and provide insight that shapes high-level strategy.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).

  • Must have some experience with Power BI

  • Deep experience working with syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen, SPINS, Circana) and retailer POS tools.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to bridge analytics and executive decision-making.

  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills.

  • Experience in DSD and/or omnichannel retail environments.

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot.

  • MBA or advanced degree in business, analytics, or related field (preferred but not required).

Benefits Overview: Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision Plans, 401k Match, Family Leave, PTO & Paid Holiday Schedule.
