What does a successful Sales Leader – Financial & Risk Management Solutions do? As a Sales Leader for the Financial & Risk Management Solutions division at Fiserv, you will spearhead a team of dedicated sales professionals, driving predictable and profitable sales engagements for our Prologue and Nautilus products. You will be instrumental in forging new client relationships while bolstering existing ones. Your leadership will be pivotal in ensuring the sales team meets and exceeds their targets, contributing to the overall success of Fiserv.

What you will do:

  • Execute sales plans, assign accounts, territories, and sales quotas to staff, ensuring quotas are met.
  • Plan and direct sales activities to fulfill resource and staffing requirements.
  • Manage and proactively drive the creation of a robust sales pipeline.
  • Define and execute sales strategies to increase add-on revenue.
  • Supervise, develop, motivate, and mentor sales staff; administer compensation and assess performance.
  • Actively manage sales staff through all phases of the sales lifecycle to meet targets and build a strong pipeline.
  • Provide guidance and remove obstacles in high-priority opportunities to ensure successful contract closes.
  • Monitor sales metrics such as financial forecasts, win/loss reviews, and pipeline analysis to manage the business effectively.
  • Offer thought leadership around key market and industry insights.

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, and/or equivalent military experience.
  • 6+ years of solution selling experience in the financial services industry.
  • Proven sales management experience with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • 10+ years of experience in accounting solutions within a financial institution.
  • Experience in leading a sales team and driving sales strategies.

What would be great to have:

  • 6+ years of experience in sales within information technology.
  • Knowledge of selling complex, multi-year or multi-service contracts.
  • Experience in using customer relationship management (CRM) tools like eCRM.
  • Strong understanding of the financial and risk management landscape.

Salary Range

$82,700.00 - $175,900.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in Illinois, California and District of Columbia. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.

For commission eligible employees, the successful candidate is eligible to earn commissions pursuant to the terms of the applicable Fiserv Sales Compensation Plan.
