About SkinnyDipped
Located in Seattle, SkinnyDipped was founded by a mom and daughter and two best friends after realizing that nothing is more important than time spent with the ones you love. Starting out of their kitchen, the four women created SkinnyDipped: thinly dipped chocolate almonds that are exceptionally good-for-you and ridiculously delicious. We’re proud to remain a women-led business driven by the belief that healthy snacking should make both you and your body happy.

Our Mission
We craft food that nourishes your body and your spirit. We believe everyone deserves access to clean, delicious snacks—the kind we happily share with our own families. As a women-founded company, we’re committed to uplifting women and the children they care for in our local communities and around the world, because no one—especially a child—should go without love or food.

The Opportunity
We’re looking for a dynamic, relationship-driven Director of Sales, East to grow the SkinnyDipped brand across major national and regional retailers headquartered in the eastern U.S (Kroger, Publix, ADUSA, Target, and more). This role will have one direct report, and is all about building strong partnerships, expanding distribution, driving consumption, and unlocking new opportunities in fast-moving categories. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry expertise and a proven track record in the CPG/food sector, with an emphasis on Better-For-You or Natural/Organic snacks.

If you’re energized by working cross-functionally, using data to guide smart decisions, collaborating with brokers, and bringing big ideas to life at retail - we’d love to talk to you.

What You’ll Do

  • Own & Grow Key Retail Accounts
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with buyers, brokers, and distributor partners. Experience with UNFI and KeHE is a strong plus.
  • Use data to identify opportunities and build the brand by executing effective Merchandising, Assortment, Pricing and Shelving plans
  • Partner closely with Marketing to develop retailer-specific programs that boost visibility and consumer demand
  • Bring a brand-builder mentality, a mix of hunting and farming
  •
Build & Execute Annual Business Plans
  • Develop annual plans in partnership with cross-functional team members
  • Track performance against goals and proactively suggest course corrections to keep the business on track
  • Leverage analytical resources (including distributor reporting) to optimize distribution, monitor OOS conditions, and identify opportunities or areas that need course correction

  • Monitor and Manage Trade Spending
  • Build efficient, effective promotional plans and conduct post-promo analysis to ensure trade spend is driving meaningful results
  • Balance growth with profitability by minimizing waste and optimizing ROI
  •
    People Management:
  • Build, lead and mentor a direct report who handles regional accounts based in Central and East geographies
  • Provide clear direction, mentorship, and support
  •
    Manage Broker Partner Sales Execution:
  • Collaborate with our broker partners to optimize the business. Set clear KPIs and utilize scorecards to hold broker partners accountable
  • Conduct regular reviews, identify gaps, and implement follow-up actions that drive consistent execution in the field
  •
    Deliver Accurate Forecasts
  • Provide timely, data-driven forecasts that inform production, inventory, and financial planning
  • Use insights from sales planning / trade promotion management tools, SPINS, and retailer feedback to continuously improve forecast accuracy
  • Share actionable insights with senior leadership to support strategic decisions
  • Lead with positivity, fostering an optimistic and motivating environment to inspire team performance and client relationships

  • Represent SkinnyDipped in the Field
  • Attend customer meetings, trade shows, and broker presentations
  • Travel up to 50%+ as needed to support customer and business needs

  • What You Bring to the Table
  • BA/BS required
  • 5-8 years of CPG sales experience, with 2-5 years as a Director or Sr Manager of sales, trade marketing, or broker management
