Job Title: Director of Sales East Region- Technology Solutions

Job Purpose: 
The Director of Sales plays a strategic role in leading and mentoring a team of Account Executives while also directly managing key client relationships and driving business growth. This position involves overseeing complex sales cycles, guiding strategic account development, and aligning technology solutions to meet client needs. In addition to sales responsibilities, the Director will be a key mentor and leader, responsible for developing sales talent and creating a culture of continuous improvement and success. Success is measured by team performance, client acquisition, revenue growth, renewal rates, and overall client satisfaction. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and support in achieving individual and team goals. 
  • Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with senior decision-makers across various industries. 
  • Oversee and guide the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure for both personal and team accounts. 
  • Develop strategic relationships with key clients, partners, and internal technical resources to support complex sales cycles and ensure alignment of solutions. 
  • Drive market growth by positioning and winning with eGroup Enabling Technologies’ portfolio, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Nutanix, Rubrik, Cohesity, and Cisco. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing and pre-sales teams to create and deliver compelling presentations and demos that effectively communicate the value proposition. 
  • Lead the development of financial business cases, manage RFP/RFI responses, and ensure effective competitive positioning. 
  • Foster collaboration across internal teams to align sales strategies with customer needs and contribute to product and service enhancement feedback. 
  • Establish and implement best practices for sales processes, pipeline management, and performance tracking. 
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to build brand recognition and generate new business opportunities. 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in overseeing a sales team, particularly within technology sales. 
  • Proven experience in mentoring and leading sales teams to exceed targets. 
  • Strong track record of selling complex IT solutions and closing professional services business. 
  • Ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with senior executives and key clients. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to simplify complex technical solutions. 
  • Experience working in a remote environment with a distributed team. 
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience. 
  • Willingness to travel periodically to meet clients or attend events.

Working Conditions: 
This is a fully remote role with periodic, as-needed travel for client meetings, industry events, and team collaboration. Candidates must have access to a reliable internet connection and a productive home office environment. Necessary hardware will be provided. 

Compensation: 
$150,000 base salary + commission (total OTE up to $300,000).
