The Role:
The Commercial Bank's Treasury Management Product Team is transforming how businesses operate, building top-tier client and associate experiences using secure, best in class technology. The TM Product Team is responsible for supporting all client-facing products as well as associate-facing tools, operations, and sales support.
Technology is a critical component of Commercial Banking's Strategic direction as we continue to deploy innovative financial technologies that drive clients to reimagine their Treasury Management models, architectures and governance. We are in the process of reimagining our payment ecosystem.
One of our focus areas is to modernize our end to end ACH processing ecosystem. We are looking for an ACH expert with the following qualifications:
  • Deep understanding of NACHA rules and regulations and processing
  • Expertise how the ACH product integrates across other Treasury Management products
  • Have excellent communication and partnership skills, to interact and communicate with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes
  • Have the ability to write and review functional and technical requirements, and analysis of data
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to dig in, analyze data and document solution alternatives
  • Have strong problem solving skills
  • Have excellent presentation skills
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to navigate a large organization
  • Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of others and develop relationships across the organization
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clarity and precision in both written and verbal capacities

Responsibilities will include:
  • Process Design
    • Work in multi-disciplinary teams to shape, propose, communicate and implement product development processes and solutions for ACH - intensive, high impact engagements, harnessing latest agile ways of working and leveraging design-based thinking.
    • Implement continuous improvement, leveraging frameworks and data insights to revise sales and marketing activities and workflow.
  • Thought leadership
    • Provide presentations on Treasury Management ACH solutions across the Value Chain
    • Keep abreast of competition, technology changes, trends, etc. in the marketplace and educate partners and customers as appropriate
  • Financial Product Knowledge
    • Financial industry product and technical knowledge will include ACH from a product, operations and regulatory perspective

Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 10 years of ACH experience for Commercial clients either in an operational or product management function
  • At least 7 years of experience in NACHA rules, regulations and processing
  • At least 7 years integrating ACH products across other Treasury Management products

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of ACH expertise for Commercial clients (operational and/or product management)
  • Accredited ACH Professional (AAP)

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Chicago, IL: $181,800 - $207,500 for Director, Project Management
McLean, VA: $200,100 - $228,400 for Director, Project Management
Richmond, VA: $181,800 - $207,500 for Director, Project Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
