About the Role

The Director, Product Marketing is responsible for leading the messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for specific products or solution areas. This role synthesizes market, product, and competitive inputs into actionable marketing strategies to drive product adoption and revenue growth. The Director will focus on effectively marketing MDR product solutions while collaborating across Sales, Marketing, and Product Management teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for MDR products, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Lead the messaging and creation of marketing assets for MDR product offerings, driving customer and partner engagement.

  • Act as a key partner to the Sales team, enabling them with the tools, training, and competitive insights needed to position emerging product solutions effectively.

  • Conduct market analysis to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive positioning specific to emerging products.

  • Build customer personas and use cases to inform positioning and marketing content.

  • Partner closely with Product Management to influence product development based on customer and market feedback.

  • Collaborate with the broader Marketing team to design campaigns that drive awareness, pipeline, and revenue for emerging product solutions.

  • Lead pricing and packaging initiatives in partnership with the Pricing team and Product Management to ensure product-market fit and competitive positioning.

  • Support cross-functional initiatives, ensuring messaging and positioning consistency across all touchpoints.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of product marketers.

Who You Are

  • Proven ability to translate technical features into compelling customer benefits.

  • Experience working with Sales teams to deliver impactful enablement tools and programs.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven marketing decisions.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications​​

  • 8+ years of B2B software product marketing experience, including at least 3 years of experience with cybersecurity solutions required.

  • Strong knowledge of the cybersecurity industry, with an understanding of market dynamics and competitors in the cybersecurity space.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of people leadership experience strongly preferred, with a proven ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams

  • MBA preferred

The base salary range for this job family is 160,000 to 280,000 USD annually. This range reflects the base pay the company reasonably expects to offer for this position, aligned to the broader job family base pay structure. Actual base pay may vary based on skills, experience, and location, including job family level. In addition to base pay, Arctic Wolf offers variable incentive compensation, new hire equity grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
