Position Description: 

 

Creates world class digital experiences at scale. Integrates deep research and industry awareness to impact product strategy. Ensures focus on great customer experiences during design of products. Collaborates with technical teams to translate product vision into reusable business capabilities. Drives implementation across all customer and associate touchpoints. Analyzes feedback from stakeholders to continually improve products, services and experiences. Incorporates customer listening posts to ensure the business requirements meet customer needs. 

 

Primary Responsibilities: 

 

  • Identifies opportunities for reusable and scalable solutions based on customer patterns. 

  • Defines business requirements for stakeholders and technical partners, anticipated customer needs and business priorities. 

  • Collaborates across multiple stakeholders including business users, architecture, and development teams across Fidelity to continuously enhance the product and services. 

  • Measures impact to business outcomes and tracks progress towards key results/organizational priorities.   

  • Interacts with various stakeholders to assess business needs and analyzes and documents system functionalities.  

  • Creates technical documentation to capture requested functionality for new applications or any enhancements to existing applications.  

  • Analyzes and provides necessary technical and functional documentation to enterprise architects/technology partners for review and sign-off on implementation approaches. 

 

Education and Experience: 

 

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field and six (6) years of experience as a Director, Product Management (or closely related occupation) designing, developing, and providing production support for digital products. 

 

Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field and four (4) years of experience as a Director, Product Management (or closely related occupation) designing, developing, and providing production support for digital products. 

 

Skills and Knowledge: 

 

Candidate must also possess: 

 

  • Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) writing SQL scripts -- select, joins, aggregation, and grouping -- to query data; and using SQL Developer, AQT, or TOAD to baseline product functionality, validate product enhancements, and measure the impact of product enhancements using data in Snowflake 

  • DE articulating technical drawings and system interactions using MS Visio, Mural, Miro, or FIGMA to improve collaboration between business, architecture, and development teams. 

  • DE using business intelligence and business analytics tools -- Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik Sense, or Qualtrics -- to analyze and summarize product metrics, key customer feedback indicators, and associate sentiment for product stakeholders and leadership. 

  • DE analyzing microservices (REST/SOAP) and parsing JSON; and using API tools -- Insomnia, Postman, Bruno, SoapUI, or SPLUNK -- to capture the technical documentation for development and architecture teams, confirm the quality of product enhancements delivered, and provide production support post deployment of product features.
