This role ensures deep subject matter expertise in IDeaS products and serves as a key communicator of both executive and client-led vision-internally and externally-through regular updates, briefings, and engagements.
The Senior Manager fosters a culture of ownership, curiosity, and precision-zooming into the details while maintaining a clear view of the big picture. This leader drives cross-functional alignment across Development and Technology, Analytics, Commercial, and Client Success teams, ensuring that product decisions are grounded in client value and business impact.

What you'll be doing...
Strategic & Product Leadership
- Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for a portfolio of offerings aligned with IDeaS' platform strategy and business goals.
- Lead the intake, discovery, and prioritization process using IDeaS' standardized product development lifecycle (INTAKE → DISCOVER → PRIORITIZE → DEVELOP → DELIVER → SUPPORT).
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in IDeaS products, capable of articulating product capabilities and strategic direction to clients, executives, and internal stakeholders but also maintaining a deep understanding of technical details and features' capabilities.
Development & Delivery Collaboration
- Partner closely with Development and Technology teams to translate requirements into actionable development plans, ensuring feasibility, scalability, and business impact. Working to assign projects to specific Product Managers and ensuring projects are delivered on time and adapting to changing priorities.
- Oversee agile sprint execution, backlog grooming, and release planning in partnership with Technology and Development leaders.
- Ensure readiness of documentation, enablement, and go-to-market functions for each product and release.
Client & Market Engagement
- Act as a product evangelist-delivering demos, participating in client briefings, and representing IDeaS at industry events.
- Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, and client personas to inform product decisions.
- Communicate product direction and updates regularly to clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
Team Leadership & Values
- Lead a team of product managers with diverse focus areas-some oriented toward internal execution and others toward market and client engagement.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Encourage a mindset of "zooming in and zooming out"-understanding both the fine-grained details and the broader strategic context.
- Set performance expectations, provide coaching and feedback, and support career development
Additional Responsibilities
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives such as pricing strategy, platform integration, and innovation planning.
- Support OEM and technical partner relationships as needed.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives
What you'll bring to us...
- Proven experience (5+ years), in a leadership role in product management, preferably in SaaS or enterprise software.
- A bachelor's degree is required. Preferably in a quantitative field (like computer science, engineering, or mathematics).
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate vision into execution.
- Excellent communication skills-written, verbal, and visual.
- Experience with agile methodologies and product lifecycle management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Ability to lead through influence in a matrixed, global organization.
- Passion for solving complex problems and delivering customer value.
