Scopely is looking for a Director of Product, Performance to lead the Live Operations Events and Engagement team for Marvel Strike Force remotely in the United States or Canada.

Marvel Strike Force is Scopely's squad-based Hero Collector RPG, housing heroes and villains across the Marvel Universe. 

What You Will Do

This individual will own long term strategic planning across characters, events, and content, ensuring a cohesive core experience that drives sustained player engagement and retention. They will define the goals, frameworks, and live service playbook that clarify why players engage with the game and translate player motivation into durable business outcomes with partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Set the strategic vision and operating model for our Seasonal and Ages Structure, defining player experience goals and outcomes that drive long term retention and monetization
  • Establish success frameworks, analytics, and hypothesis driven content and events that translate player behavior insights into measurable business impact
  • Provide clarity through playbooks and planning ahead, aligning cross functional stakeholders of execution priorities and goals
  • Define and evolve the long term content and events roadmap, enabling innovation and differentiated player experiences that service multiple player cohorts
  • Lead a high-performing Events organization
What We're Looking For
  • Previous work experience with free-to-play games (5+ years preferred, RPG space a bonus)
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical ability with attention to detail
  • Understanding of game design concepts and principles
  • Experience developing live service playbooks and seasons
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for servicing players and driving results
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • An MBA or a Degree in Economics, Business, Statistics, Data Analytics, or Finance is a plus

In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for equity, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
