Lead the Performance Enablement and Leadership Development function, architecting high-impact programs to foster continuous learning and elevate team performance globally.
About the Role:
As Lyra boldly transforms access to evidence-based mental health care around the world, we are seeking a visionary and agile builder to lead our Performance Enablement and Leadership Development function; You will architect the content and systems to enable sustainable high performance and facilitate a culture of continual learning and growth for Lyrians across all parts of our business and support our distributed teams across more than 20 countries.
Success in this role will create an integrated ecosystem where expectations are clear, accountability is high, support is effective, and growth is continuous. Your mission is to build high-ROI leadership programs that don't just "train," but measurably elevate team capabilities, drive engagement, and foster a cross-functional community of leaders committed to Lyra’s global mission.
Responsibilities
- Define the High-Performance Standard: Own the vision and design for an "employee-friendly" performance framework. You will integrate goal setting, feedback, and accountability into the daily flow of work, ensuring the process adds value rather than friction.
- Architect Leadership Programs: Design and launch high-impact development initiatives for both rising and senior leaders. You will move from vision to execution, creating cohort-based experiences that drive measurable improvements in leadership efficacy and business performance.
- Build Lyra’s "Performance Engine": Lead the global function that builds the systems, tools, and supports needed to scale high performance. You will ensure our talent readiness strategy (succession, talent reviews) is future-focused and data-driven.
- Product Mindset & Rapid Iteration: Apply a product design lens to HR—get stuff done, gather feedback, and improve. You understand that "perfect is the enemy of the good" and prioritize shipping impactful solutions that evolve with the business.
- Community Construction: Build and lead a small team of ICs, while collaborating deeply with the Global HRBP team, People Team COEs and senior leadership to ensure performance and development initiatives are designed with true cross-functional coordination and consider a diverse array of stakeholder needs.
- Tech-Forward Enablement: Strategically deploy GenAI and our in-house technology to accelerate learning, drive accessible learning, and produce insights that inform our long-term talent strategy.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience with a proven history of building leadership and performance functions from the ground up in impacted oriented, global environments.
- Experience with individual coaching and cohort based development programs.
- Demonstrated ability to design programs that show a clear line of sight to business ROI and increased team leadership capabilities.
- A "biased for action" mindset. You have experience iterating on programs in real-time based on user feedback and changing business priorities.
- 5+ years of experience leading high-impact teams. You are as comfortable setting a 3-year vision with executives as you are hands-on in program design.
- Experience scaling programs across multiple geographies and business departments, balancing the need for global consistency with local department relevance.
- Ability to measure true behavior change and organizational impact through data and analytics.
