Imagine being a healthcare provider whose sole mission is to focus on delivering high-quality patient outcomes, but with the knowledge that you need to constantly document your compliance with key healthcare regulations along the way. Now imagine tasking someone with a limited compliance background to manage that, with looming risks of audits, breaches and fines hanging over your practice. Compliancy Group’s vision is to deliver stress-relieving, tech-enabled services and software to the healthcare community that create stronger trust between patients and providers. We’re on a mission to support small and midsized medical practices as they work to comply with critical, ongoing healthcare compliance requirements.
We’re looking for a Director of Partnerships who thrives in a high-impact, strategic role and is motivated by building and scaling meaningful partner relationships. The ideal candidate combines strong business development skills with relationship management expertise, balancing both acquisition and retention efforts. This role is designed for a self-starter who can operate independently, think strategically, and act as a player/coach with the opportunity to grow and lead a team.
This is a remote role with opportunities to connect virtually or in-person for collaboration, process improvement, and team alignment.
- Business Development & Partner Acquisition
- Identify, pursue, and close new strategic partnerships that align with company goals.
- Build a scalable partner acquisition framework, including outreach strategies, evaluation criteria, incentives, onboarding processes and data/measurement models.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Product, and Compliance teams) to ensure partnership opportunities support broader company objectives.
- Partner Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key partners, cultivating strong and lasting relationships.
- Develop and implement partner enablement programs to maximize engagement and performance.
- Monitor partner performance, provide ongoing support, and identify opportunities for expansion and collaboration.
- Act as an advocate for partners internally, ensuring their feedback is considered in product and service development.
- Strategic Leadership & Program Development
- Create and refine the overall partnership strategy, balancing acquisition and retention. Included in this is the ability to define a focused, measured target market for new partners, manage a budget for partner engagement activities, optimize our relationship positioning (referral, re-sell, co-sell) with prospecting partners and more.
- Establish measurable goals, track KPIs, and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.
- Mentor and guide future team members, contributing to a high-performance partnerships function.
- 5+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, and strategic account management, with at least 3 years in a director-level or equivalent role.
- Proven ability to design and execute partnership programs that deliver measurable business results.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with a track record of driving growth through partnerships.
- Comfort with both leading (acting as the strategist) as well as executing (being in front of partners and prospective partners alike) as a team of one, with strong potential to grow.
- Comfort operating within a lean business; choicefulness as to where and how you spend budget will be critical.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, both internally and externally.
- Experience in healthcare, compliance, or highly regulated industries strongly preferred.
- Self-starter who can operate independently while collaborating across functions. Experience working in smaller businesses is a plus.
- Previous experience leading or mentoring a team is a plus.
- Opportunity to grow a partnerships team and function.
- Direct visibility and impact, reporting to the Sr. Director of Sales.
- Comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, eyecare, 401K with company match, generous PTO, and more!).
- A collaborative and transparent company culture that values customer impact, strategic thinking, and professional growth.
